Auguri – Christmas wishes IT/EN
La felicità è una finestra dentro aperta
nessun oggetto nessun altro nessun natale
può tapparla, la felicità che fa passare il vento.
Per non sentire freddo
le metti un bel vestito rosso
la rimpinzi di pandoro per non sentire fame
per non sentire l’ubriachi di feste
e di risposte sbrigative.
Ma la felicità è una domanda aperta
è più a suo agio vuota, e senza appigli.
È meglio incerta che illusa.
Meglio appassita che finta.
La felicità che non ha lo stesso
interruttore delle luci, albero e presepe.
Somiglia più a chi dal buio accende un fuoco,
la felicità che fa passare il vento.

no-thing, no-one, no-christmas
can close up happiness that let the wind go through.
You dress it now in red
not to feel cold
you stuff it with pandoro*
not to feel hungry
with hasty answers, celebrating
you get it drunk not to feel at all.
But happiness is an open question,
it feels at ease when empty with no hold.
Better uncertain than deceived.
Better a wilted than a fake one.
Doesn’t switch on like lights
on christmas trees nativity sets.
It looks more like someone lighting a fire
happiness that let the wind go through.
